Looking for a new young pop-rock band? Double Identity has you covered. The band consists of twin sisters, Arden Kurhayez (vocals/guitar) and Courtney Kurhayez (vocals/drums). They are based out of the suburbs of Chicago. Music has always been around for them since their childhood years.
Back in 2018 their debut EP “Small Talk” was released. The following year “Everything Reminds Me of You” then in 2020 “Your Anything.” Just recently “Red Flags & Roses” is the latest single from the band. Right away in this track you just want to get up and sing along.
“Dark, fast, and angry, exploding out of the romantic realization that you don’t owe anyone forgiveness – once they’re the bad guy, they’re always the bad guy,” is how the band describes “Red Flags & Roses.”
The relentless duo is not afraid to speak their mind. Which shows lyrically in their music especially in their latest track. In just less than a month the single reached over 1,000 streams on Spotify. This is a band one to keep on your radar as a new EP may be coming out in 2022.
